Archizoom, making your space your own.
Citizens have a complex and ambiguous relationship with architecture: they are clients, guinea pigs, spectators, legislators, detractors and more. It is an emotional relationship, experienced daily and yet often badly expressed, rarely carrying meaning. The Archizoom space on the EPFL campus maintains a dialogue between the profession, the public and students.
Architecture was one of the first disciplines to establish a global network, a phenomenon bolstered by media coverage over the past few decades. Given its palpable qualities and the fundamentally interdisciplinary nature of the profession, architecture addresses a varied audience.
As a communication tool for architecture, urbanism, construction and the environment, Archizoom acts as a catalyst for teaching and research. Archizoom’s extremely high-quality exhibitions and conferences are driven by a spirit of curiosity, experimentation and vibrant discussion.
